Without sponsors there would be no event

Bowrings, Boodle & Dunthorne and Shell International have been mentioned in the introduction with other companies and individuals supporting the event from the outset in 1989. Encase being one such company.

Major organisations including the Royal Navy and Royal Marines and latterly the Army have also provided financial support since the early 1990's and are supporting the event this year
together with Coulter Hurst & Co, Grant Thornton, Mason Owen, Morris Lubricants, P&S Northern and Union Camp Chemicals.

Britvic, Cheshire Building Society, Friends Provident, IMI, Lloyds TSB, Unichem (Arizona Chemicals) and Wooden Spoon have also made periodic contributions since 1989 together with several local companies and individuals.
